Mens Program

Our Men’s Program

Soulegria’s unique approach to treatment of young men defines who we are and our mission to help struggling young men. Our therapeutic direction coincides with practical skill development and personal achievement. Soulegria’s method is to guide therapeutic directives into every young man’s personal development. As we construct the foundation of curative treatment of an individual specifically, we emphasis the practice of life principles within our program. We find that these processes are crucial to the success of those we serve.

The P.R.O.M.I.S.E. of young men’s treatment

The model we use at Soulegria combines multiple areas of life into seven points of focus which make up the acronym P.R.O.M.I.S.E. First is Physical which empathizes the importance of physical health, exercise, diet, sleep hygiene, and personal hygiene. Relationship addresses the relationships: personal, professional, and self. Opportunity identifies the areas in life for career advancement and what key principles it will take to be successful in the professional world. Mental is the pursuit of educational development to become more eligible for criteria of personal and professional advancement. Integrity recognizes honor, ethics, principles, and morals in life; how to live by a self-defined code of conduct. Spirituality examines the connection to the world, the deeper meanings of purpose and fulfillment to shape beliefs. Emotional diagnoses the emotional state, how it changes, what tools can be used to reframe emotions, how not to let negative emotion control behavior. Each point of P.R.O.M.I.S.E. intertwines therapeutic value and personal achievement.

Our Ideal Client for Treatment

An ideal candidate for Soulegria is a young man ages 18-28, has struggled to be independent, and is potentially burdened by a mental illness or condition. Most of the time the lack of success has caused strained relationships with family/friends and even the community at large. While they are in this difficult phase of life, parents or a family member fully support them financially and they are mostly dependent on others for support.
