I have been working as a Social Worker for 10 years and 5 of those years as a licensed clinical therapist. In my journey, I have had the privilege of working in home health, Inpatient psychiatric hospital with adolescents and adults, substance abuse therapist for a community mental health program. In addition, I have worked at a private mental health practice that specializes in trauma treatment and EMDR. The populations I have experience with are the elderly, adolescents both in-patient and out-patient, and general mental health working with adults and adolescents who have depression, anxiety, life changes and transition, bipolar, schizophrenia autism, cognitive impairment and PTSD. We all encounter pain, hardships, and unmet expectations, but that doesn't mean we have to suffer because of them; there is hope and healing along the way. I believe in a compassionate, collaborative approach to therapy. I believe in change and when you improve your mental health you gain the ability to make life meaningful. I am here to help provide skills and tools to grow your confidence in yourself. I love what I do and know that hope, healing, and growth are possible for everyone. I am so impressed by the strength and resiliency I see in the people that I meet and feel honored to be a part of their healing journey
